You should have your calculator by now and should bring it to class daily. If you don't have one, please get one ASAP. These should be graphing calculators in the TI-83 or TI-84 series, or should be able to emulate those. Acceptable calculators include (roughly in order from cheapest to most expensive; some are discontinued and only available used):

• TI-83
• TI-83 Plus
• TI-83 Plus Silver Edition
• TI-84
• TI-84 Plus
• TI-84 Plus Silver Edition
• TI-Nspire (With included TI-84 Plus Keypad)

The TI-Nspire CAS is not the same as the TI-Nspire and does not support the TI-84 Plus Keypad, so it is not recommended. If you want to use a TI-Nspire CAS or other graphing calculator not on the above list, please come see me first.

You can buy these locally (e.g. Staples) or online, get them from siblings or graduating friends. If purchase is a hardship you can borrow one from the math department.
